Ella, Bettina and Sarah's travels through Italy

Well this year I was included in a really fun trip through an area of Italy that was new to Ella and I. Bettina had never been to Europe so not only was Italy a new place to see but Geinsheim as well. Our trip through Italy started in Milan, though only for a transfer to the train station ,and then we stayed in Verona, Padua and finally Venice. It was a wonderful trip. We had a fabulous time. Here are a few pictures.

On arrival in Italy. Let the adventure begin.

My God, who brought all that luggage?

Our one stop in Milan infront of the Cathedral.
Our taxi drive Giuseppe Cannistraro stopped for us and took our picture.
A great start to our trip.

Eating gelato ice cream in Padua.
Hands down the best gelato we had on the trip.

On arrival in Venice at the San Marcos Square.
Our hotel was about two minutes from the square.

Bettina and Ella on the Rialto Bridge

Ella and Sarah enjoying Champagne on the Gondola Ride.
Yes, we brought it with us all the way from Germany.
Other gondola boat passengers were jealous!

Standard afternoon snack.

Carnival in Venice is sold everywhere but hey, isn't that a Swarovski bag in Ella's hand?

Our last evening in Venice and our last day of the trip.
What a wonderful time we had!
Great weather, terrific hotels and fantastic traveling companions.
